Florida’s Voluntary Prekindergarten Program for 4-Year-Olds
Trinity Preschool is proud to offer Florida’s Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) program for our 4-year-olds. Both campuses offer small class sizes to ensure individualized attention and robust parent-teacher collaboration. Using the Renaissance curriculum, our VPK program aims to develop literacy, math, language, and social-emotional development skills. Our goal is to give children a solid foundation for lifelong learning and to provide a seamless transition into all district and private kindergarten programs.
What Is Florida’s Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program (VPK)?
Florida's Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program (VPK) is a free early learning initiative designed to prepare 4-year-old children for kindergarten. The program aims to develop literacy, math, language, and social-emotional development skills, giving children a solid foundation for lifelong learning.
VPK is available to all children who are Florida residents and who turn four by September 1 of the school year and is offered through public and private providers. Trinity Preschool offers 540 instructional hours held during the traditional school year. VPK supports families and helps children develop essential skills they need for educational success by providing access to high-quality, play-based education at no cost.
